Anthony Rossi founds Tropicana at Bradenton in 1947; PepsiCo buys it in 1998 and PAI Partners takes 61 percent in 2021 [WTROP]. Its Bradenton plant processes nearly 60 million boxes a year at the 2023 reporting, the largest single Florida fruit buyer as reported, and its Alico orange purchase agreement terminates by mutual consent on 23 May 2025 [JAX23][ALSEC3][AL10K].
