Bror G. Dahlberg's company acquires 130,000 acres in the upper Everglades from 1925 and relocates the failed Pennsylvania Sugar mill from Pennsuco to Clewiston in 1927; the Clewiston Sugar House opens 19 January 1929 [JMFS][USS25][FHS29]. Receivership follows in fall 1930 and Charles Stewart Mott buys the assets in 1931 [JMFS][USSH].
